Detox & Rehab Options in Tampa, FL

There are many beneficial treatment options and programs available near East Lake, Florida, and the Tampa Area, such as the following:

Intervention

Professional interventionists organize meetings with family and friends of a loved one with a substance use disorder. The objective is to convince the loved one to seek treatment calmly and respectfully.

Medical Detox

A medically-supervised detox is a process that provides treatment and support for alcohol or drug cessation. Individuals are monitored round-the-clock for complications and symptoms that could manifest in response to withdrawal.

Residential & Inpatient Rehab

Residential rehab programs offer closed, secure environments 24/7, including overnight stays. Inpatient treatment is the most intensive level of care and may be most suitable for those who require a medical detox, have severe medical or mental health conditions, or lack an outside support system.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment offers more flexibility for those with mild-moderate addiction or who have completed a more intensive level of care. These programs do not involve overnight stays, and participants typically reside in sober living homes or private residences.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

Partial hospitalization is structured substance misuse treatment for people who require a higher level of care than outpatient treatment. PHP offers comprehensive services and medical supervision during the day but does not require overnight stays.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Intensive outpatient programs treat substance use disorders and mental health conditions that do not require 24/7 monitoring. IOP offers various therapies, support groups, and life skills classes that meet at scheduled times weekly.

Outpatient Treatment (OP)

Regular outpatient programs are an excellent option for people who’ve completed a higher level of care. This level of care offers many of the same services as more intensive treatment, such as behavioral therapy and 12-step program integration.

MAT & Suboxone

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) often accompanies comprehensive treatment such as detox and behavioral therapy. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved three drugs for opioid addiction treatment: buprenorphine (Suboxone), methadone, and naltrexone. Naltrexone is also approved to treat alcohol dependence, along with disulfiram and acamprosate. (17)

Addiction Recovery Program Costs in East Lake-Orient Park, Florida

Privately-Funded

Private drug rehab centers have advantages over government-sponsored treatment facilities. Benefits like customized programs may be covered by health insurance, which can offset much of the additional expense. Private centers also tend to have significantly less waiting time than government programs.

Public- & State-Funded

Public addiction treatment programs receive funds through federal and state grants and Medicaid reimbursement. These are only available to state residents who can’t afford treatment costs or have insufficient insurance coverage. For those eligible, public rehabs offer substance misuse treatment they would otherwise not be able to access.

Insurance-Based

Many addiction treatment centers, such as Guardian Recovery Network, offer free, no-obligation health insurance benefits checks and accept most major providers. These include Anthem Health, Aetna Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana Healthcare, and many more.

Medicaid & Medicare

Medicaid and Medicare are federal- and state-funded health insurance programs that provide low-cost or free addiction treatment. Each program has different eligibility requirements, and one of these programs may cover some or all treatment costs.
