The staff is very friendly and lovely…there all very caring and understanding the food is delicious, the place is very neat and organized the staff is very understanding and very helpful so far I’ve had nothing but a good experience trying to get sober I wish luck to anybody else in this journey

The care and support from the Therapist and medical staff was a blessing. From the minute you wake up until the moment you fall asleep in there very well kept rooms you are met with real people who teach from experience. Not once did I feel like a burden or that I was being judged. They Just wanted to help. The catering and the cleanliness are just a plus. I left feeling apart of instead an outcast. The stigma of addiction puts a weight on you that's encumbersome, but with Cura South and Guardian Recovery you can expect to learn how to breathe again and feel human. My first time in rehab I didn't know what to expect. The staff was amazing The therapist had care concern for each client as did staff and the nurses and doctors above and beyond with care I'm so glad thats where I was sent thank you all and God bless Cura South

Cura South is an incredible place. This is my first time in Detox/rehab, and both programs exceeded my expectations. Every staff member is kind and supportive and truly wants to see you succeed in your recovery. I’ve heard horror stories of other facilities being terrible to live in but Cura South, in my opinion, is the best place to recover. They have extremely comfortable beds and warm showers. The food is fantastic too. On top of having a 24/7 snack and drink area they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. You will not go hungry. The medical staff and therapists are wonderful, they make sure you know what medicine you’re taking and they take time to explain any questions you may have. The therapists really are rigorous with how they plan your recovery. They help you set goals for yourself and they teach classes about addiction recovery, among other subjects, throughout the day. Every night at 7:30pm (except for weekends), they have an AA speaker meeting comprised of AA members around St. Pete. This place should be your top choice if you’re looking to recover from any addiction. I’m so happy with the choice I made and will not forget the people and lessons I learned here.
